A native Californian, Deb loves adventure and taking risks. She began her career at Shell Chemical as the first woman promoted to management, then took a break to raise two daughters.

She returned for degrees in Special Education and Educational Therapy and joined the Peace Corps at 59.

​

Sent to the Philippines, she remained after service and helped start major community projects on the remote island of Palawan. A blissful 10 years later, she returned ‘home.’

Deb has had various careers: corporate sales and marketing director, Special Education teacher, Educational therapist, management consultant specializing in organizational development, and now, bestselling Author.
